JOANNE B. SPELLANE is an attorney in sole practice, with offices in Tarrytown, New York and New York City. She specializes in Elder Law and Estate Planning, including Medicaid, Wills, Trusts, Probate and Estate Administration. Joanne represents the interests of the elderly and the disabled, and enjoys guiding younger families on the importance of having an estate plan in place. She has volunteered regularly for over twenty-five years with Caring Kind, New York City, and frequently lectures on elder law and estate planning issues with numerous civic and family groups.

 

Joanne is a graduate of Trinity College in Washington, D.C. She received her JD from St. John’s University School of Law, and has a Certificate in Aging from Brookdale Center for the Aging at Hunter College. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, to which she is a frequent contributor to the NAELA Journal; as well as the Elder Law and Trusts and Estates Sections of the New York State Bar Association.

 

Joanne provides home visits, free of charge, to her elderly or disabled clients.
